【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodocumenttheabilityofasolidwasteresourcerecoveryseparatortocapturethecomponent(s)ofinterestinthedesiredprocessstream.Therecoverydeterminedinthiswayisusedinconjunctionwiththepurityoftheproduct,asdescribedinTestMethodE889.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherecoveryofadesiredproductinadeviceprocessingsolidwasteforthepurposeofconcentratingacomponentofinterest.Therecoveryisdeterminedwithrespecttotheamountofthedesiredcomponentinoneoutputstream(accepts)asopposedtoanotheroutputstream(rejects).TheresultsofthiscalculationdeterminetheeffectivenessofcomponentseparationwhencoupledwithameasureofproductpurityasdescribedinTestMethodE889.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionaryinformationisgiveninSection7.
