【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheempiricalestimationoftheconsistencyofwaxesderivedfrompetroleumbymeasurementoftheextentofpenetrationofastandardneedle.Thistestmethodisapplicabletowaxeshavingapenetrationofnotgreaterthan250.Note1-Thistestmethodissimilartotheneedlemethodfordeterminingthepenetrationofbituminousmaterial,TestMethodD5.ConemethodsapplicabletogreasesandtopetrolatumaredescribedinTestMethodsD217andTestMethodD937,respectively.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
